Earlier this week, Russ took to Twitter to share some beats he’s been working on while practicing social distancing. However, things didn’t seem to go the way the 27-year-old rapper/producer was hoping.

In the clip, Russ introduced his beat by saying, “This is a soul sample, keyboard warrior appreciation post.” Twitter users were not feeling Russ' beat, and plenty of users jumped in to clown it.

One user, in particular, compared it to the transition music from MTV Cribs. It wasn’t just Twitter users who jumped in. Metro Boomin, who has dissed Russ for being “whack in spirit” in the past, also added his emoji-filled take.
