Having come through the ranks at Manchester City and since leaving Wanderers, Sturridge's career has taken him from Stamford Bridge to Liverpool, where he scored 67 goals in 160 games and was part of the side which came agonisingly close to winning the Premier League title in the 2013/14 season.
Sturridge scored 24 goals in all competitions that season after forming a prolific strike partnership with Luis Suarez.He played half a dozen times for West Bromwich Albion on loan in the 2017/18 season, before leaving the Anfield club.
