A father and child were both hit in a drive-by BB gun attack. Police believe the culprit fired from a black Volkswagen Golf at a busy junction of the A34.
The man and his son were walking along Gatley Road in Gatley at about 6.30pm yesterday when someone inside the car opened fire.
They were both struck by orange pellets. The child was hit in the chest and the man in the head. No serious injuries were sustained as a result.
