The former Home Office chief who resigned from the department after claiming the Home Secretary has launched a "vicious and orchestrated" campaign against him has launched a legal bid against the government.
Sir Philip Rutnam, who was the top official at the Home Office, has launched a constructive dismissal case against his former department according to his union.
