Emergency crews race to ‘ongoing incident’ on Scots railway

Emergency services are dealing with an ‘ongoing incident’ at a Scots railway station. Both lines are closed between Inverkeithing, Fife, and Dalmeny, just south of the Forth Bridge, due to an incident at North Queensferry train station in Fife.

ScotRail tweeted that services between Edinburgh and Peth, Inverness, Arbroath, Glenrothes and Aberdeen will be cancelled, delayed or revised as a result.A fire service spokesperson said: "Scottish Fire and Rescue Service assisted emergency service partners with an incident at North Queensferry train station. "Operation control was notified at 2.25pm and mobilised four appliances to the station and do remain in attendance."No more details have been provided about the nature of the incident at this
