EastEnders 'Dirty Dan' actor unrecognisable 25 years after quitting show

He still has that steel glint, though! Craig was only 34 when he joined Walford in June 1999. He may have only hung around for two years but in that time he caused plenty of drama including cheating on his lover Carol Jackson with her daughter Bianca and multiple run-ins with Phil Mitchell and Steve Owen.
Since leaving EastEnders, Craig, from Mile End in east London, has had parts in Hollywood blockbusters like Cliffangher with Sylvester Stallone and Beyond Bedlam.
Speaking to the Daily Express Craig, a dad of two, said since being on the hit soap there has been “dark times” and that life had not always been easy.
