EastEnders star Luisa Bradshaw-White has admitted she doesn't understand why some actors choose to return to soaps after quitting - and was glad her character was murdered by serial killer Gray Atkins. The actress, who is best known for playing the late Tina Carter in Albert Square, said she is "so pleased" that she doesn't have the opportunity to go back - and that it would be "going back massive steps" to do so.Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, Luisa - who is currently taking a break from acting entirely to focus on her new career in ecstatic dance - explained that while she "definitely wanted to go", she didn't get a say in Tina's eventual death. She said: "It was [my decision], I definitely wanted to go.

I didn’t really talk to them about how I would go or anything like that, none of that was anything to do with me."However, I have never really understood why you would leave a job and decide to go back a few years later.

No-one else does that, do they? You don’t leave a job thinking, 'I’ll leave the door open just in case I want to go back.'"The star added: "I am so pleased that I don’t get an opportunity to go back, because the job and the adventure was complete. "That adventure had finished.

And all the practical reasons I wanted to do EastEnders in the first place had all changed. So I knew it was time for me to have new adventures. "If I did go back now, I feel like I would be going back massive steps.
