Danny Dyer has been begged to present more historical documentaries after he was caught on camera calling racist Oswald Mosley "a melt".

The EastEnders star gave a colourful description of the Battle of Cable Street, the landmark riot that took place shortly before the outbreak of World War II, where Mosley and his band of fascist thugs sought to terrorise Jewish people in London's East End.

The actor, who plays Mick Carter in the BBC soap, was appearing in the Sky Arts show Danny Dyer On Harold Pinter - and the subsequent clip has gone viral on Twitter for all the right reasons.
