THIS Morning star Fern Britton has ended her "feud" with former co-host Phillip Schofield in a sweet tribute video. The TV presenter appeared on ITV show Lorraine to congratulate her co-star on his impressive 40 years on television.

Fern, 64, co-hosted This Morning with Phil, 59, from 2002 to 2009 before she made a swift departure after the pair fell out.

She looked to be burying the hatchet as she sent her old pal a recorded message on his special day, congratulating his hard work on telly. "It's an incredible milestone and it's time for you to stop and look back and see all you have achieved and be proud of it," Fern said. "I'm wishing you a very happy future.

Congratulations and keep going." Back in 2009, Fern was only halfway through her £1.5million This Morning contract when she handed in her notice out of the blue.
