THIS Morning viewers couldn't help but notice a moment of tension between Phillip Schofield and Ruth Langsford. Hosting the show alongside Josie Gibson, who stepped in to replace Holly Willoughby after she caught Covid, Phil cut to Ruth for a brief of what was coming up on Loose Women.

But fans said the interaction felt tense and awkward after her husband Eamonn Holmes reignited his feud with Phillip. They noticed Phil didn't say thank you to Ruth at the end of the live cross. "Not even a 'thank you, Ruth' from our Phil.

Fancy working in that atmosphere," wrote one fan on Twitter. Another added: "Not awkward at all Ruth and Phil." But a third commented: "We all know Phil and Ruth hate each other.

No need for fake pleasantries." .css-16e4f55{margin:16px 0;}.css-1czxmma{background-color:rgba(252,239,255,1);margin:16px 0;}.css-1tapza8{padding:20px 15px;}.css-1bk4jdt{padding:20px.
