This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield has confirmed that his fellow ITV presenter Holly Willoughby has received a negative Covid-19 result and will be returning to work as soon as possible.Phil, dressed in a blue and white checked shirt, and Alison Hammond, in a black top and floral throw-over combo, opened the show and welcomed viewers to the episode.

First off, Phillip turned to Alison and asked her if she could “feel a draught” which sent Alison off into a fit of giggles. She addressed the camera and explained: “We were having a conversation about my eyelashes.

They are the longest eyelashes I have ever seen, have a look at that!”Phillip said that viewers need to “see them from the side” as the camera cut to a side view of her false eyelashes, which she batted playfully to show off their size.

The pair couldn’t stop laughing at how big the eyelashes were and Phillip quipped: “I swear I thought a moth had landed on your face!”Alison was in hysterics at his joke as he said that he could “see the papers blowing”.The producers put a wind sound effect over the presenters which set them off again, before Phillip confirmed that they “look gorgeous” and that he could “put up with the draught”.After the pair joked around, Phillip then turned the conversation on to his usual co-star Holly Willoughby. The 59-year-old then spoke to the audience: “Alison is obviously here today, we’re pleased to say that she’s negative and she’ll be back tomorrow.”Upon hearing the news, Alison began dancing along to Celebrate Good Times by Kool & The Gang, which made Phillip laugh even more.
