Driver charged after horror crash in Glasgow city centre leaves man in hospital

A driver has been charged following a horror crash in Glasgow city centre which left another man hospitalised. The crash occurred on Newton Street, near the junction with St Vincent Street, in Glasgow at around 5.10pm on Sunday, January 2.

It sparked a huge emergency response with images showing multiple police vehicles, fire appliances and ambulances in attendance.

One man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to non-life threatening injuries following the two vehicle collision.
