Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Doune the Rabbit Hole organisers confirm 'three year' wait for out-of-pocket artists after 2022 event

Artists and others left out of pocket after the organisers of last year’s Doune the Rabbit Hole went into liquidation have been told they could face a three year wait to recoup their money.The bombshell news was contained within an email from the festival’s organisers to creditors in which they reveal they aim to recoup the losses made on the 2022 event by using the proceeds from future profits.It comes after the company which ran last year’s festival - Doune the Rabbit Hole Festival Ltd - was put into liquidation last year with responsibility for the 2023 event being taken over by Festival Beverage and Property Services Ltd.But with ticket sales underway for this year’s festival, set to take place between July 21-23, performers and service providers from last year have been left in the dark about being paid.In the email, the organisers state they have been “searching for a solution” to paying the outstanding monies more quickly than it would via the liquidator - but say they will “face the fact that we have not been able to find that solution”.It continues: “In spite of our best efforts, the only funds available to us at present are proceeds from 2023 ticket sales.

We cannot use these towards servicing 2022 losses or we run the risk of not being able to deliver a festival this year.“As such, we are now committed to the liquidator’s plan to pay profit from future events back to the liquidator for distribution to all creditors.

Realistically, the profit from one festival is not going to cover the total amount we owe.“This means that you will receive your payment in a series of annual instalments, with festival profits being sent to the liquidator in August/ September each year after the financial outcome of each event is
