Gladiators is set to return to screens later this year more than 20 years since its final episode, and free tickets have been made available for audiences to witness the action in person.

The iconic ITV game show was a TV staple when it aired for eight seasons in the 1990s, and made stars of a its many musclemen and women.

The show saw contestants take part in a series of gruelling physical challenges against “superhuman” Gladiators including Hunter, Jet, Panther, Cobra and Wolf.

Now more than 20 years since the original series aired its last episode on New Year’s Day 2000, Gladiators is coming back in its new home on BBC One, and viewers can apply for free tickets to see the action in person later this year.
