In a shock announcement, Netflix has confirmed they have cancelled its hit show Sex/Life after just two series.The series, which was inspired by the novel 44 Chapters About 4 Men by B.B.
Easton, became a huge success after it launched on the streaming service in 2021 with creator Stacy Rukeyser previously sharing hopes for a third series.
However, fans were left disappointed when it returned earlier this year and found that it had two fewer episodes. A Netflix spokesperson said series two wrapped up storylines for key characters whose relationships came to a happy conclusion and bought the show to its "natural ending".
Netflix confirmed the raunchy programme will not be returning for a third season.The announcement came soon after lead actress Sarah Shahi called out Netflix for not providing "the support" that she received the first season.The steamy series is focused around Sarah playing the role of Billie Connelly - a married woman with children whose suburban life takes a walk on the wild side when her ex enters her life again.
