Dog's horror injury after being attacked by snake hiding in long grass at park

dog's paw was at risk of degloving after being bitten by a snake in the park. Darren Mclean had been left shocked after being told his dog's paw was severely injured in the attack.He was out walking his five-year-old dog Ronnie, when it was bitten by a snake in Brixington Park on July 29.

The poor dog had to spend a night at the vets after two punctures were discovered on the pads of his paw, reports Devon Live.Darren, from Exmouth rushed Ronnie to the vet as soon as he realised he wasn't well.He said: ''I didn't realise anything had happened at first.''Ronnie went into the long grass and came out with a limp.

He has hip dysplasia so I just put the limp down to that as there were no other obvious signs of pain.''It wasn't until the next day.
