A DIY novice is inspiring mums to use the coronavirus lockdown to redecorate - after transforming her kitchen for just £170.

Beth Rose Whatley from Scotland, racked up more than 110 admiring comments after posting incredible before and after pictures of the project on budget Facebook page.

The DIY Mrs Hinch fan used Wilko cupboard paint to revamp her kitchen, which is now unrecognisable. Budget-savvy Beth also used stick-on tiles for the surround and splash back, and re-covered the workshops with Fablon-style material costing just £5.
