Coronavirus in Scotland: No deaths for second day but spike in cases as 21 recorded overnight

coronavirus for the second day in a row but cases have spiked overnight with an increase of 21 in the last 24 hours. Hospital deaths from the virus remain at 2,491 meaning there has been one death in the last 10 days.

The Scottish Government released the figures this afternoon. It was revealed those testing positive for the virus are up to,18,422 a rise of 21 on yesterday.And the number of patients getting treatment for confirmed or suspected cases of the virus in hospital stands at 305 - with eight currently in intensive care.The numbers come as it was revealed a staff member at the Home Farm care home on the Isle of Skye had been re-tested and found to have Covid-19.NHS bosses say all staff are now being retested and the home is closed to.
