An investigation has been launched after footage of alleged animal cruelty during a fox hunt in Renfrewshire . The Scottish SPCA are probing the incident after a dog was caught on barbed wire while attempting to jump over a fence near the village of Houston.
A clip of the fox hunt on Saturday was uploaded on social media by Glasgow Hunt Sabs. The group works across the greater Glasgow area to protect wild animals from hunters .
Footage shows the dog whining as it hangs from the razor sharp wire.One of the hunters then picks the hound up and holds it by the scruff of the neck as a Glasgow sab attempts to remove its paw.
