Bolton green field after the number of planned properties was cut by seven. A government-appointed inspector has overturned a decision by Bolton council to refuse planning permission to build more homes in Bowlands Hey.
A total of 129 houses are already under construction – and some have been complete – at the Westhoughton site in the first phase of development.
