David de Gea has broken his silence on the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, labelling the departing manager as a "legend" of the club.
The Norwegian's tenure in charge at Manchester United came to a sorry end after the 4-1 defeat to Watford on Saturday which dealt the final nail in the coffin of his time at the helm.
It added to a string of woeful results and extended the torrid run of form to just one win in two months and one Premier League win out of their last seven.
United are 12 points off the pace and have suffered three home defeats already this season including to rivals Liverpool and Manchester City.
