And he could make his debut as early as this weekend, as the team prepare to take on Chattanooga Red Wolves SC on Saturday night local time, the Mirror reports.
Both teams play in the US League One, which is the third tier of football in America. Romeo could also line up alongside Harvey Neville, who is the son of David’s ex-Manchester United teammate Phil.
Romeo announced the news with a post on Instagram in his new kit, along with the caption: "Follow your dreams." He also changed his bio on the social media platform.
