Dancing On Ice's Connor Ball debuts gruesome leg injury after being sliced open by skate

Connor Ball has provided fans with a health update after he was cut by a blade during his performance on ITV's Dancing on Ice.The 25-year-old musician experienced another unexpected fall as he whizzed round the ice with his dance partner Alexandra Schauman on Sunday evening (February 27).The couple's energetic dance routine which included props didn't exactly go to plan for Connor and he was left with a gruesome leg injury as a result.Taking to his Instagram on Monday, The Vamps star shared a string of backstage images with his fans including a snap of him being treated for his bloody wound.The limb could be seen covered in blood as medics worked to treat it with gauze and ice packs.Captioning the photos, Connor warned fans to not look at the awful gash on his leg if they are "squeamish".He penned: "Swipe for my night's progression!

But warning: don’t swipe too far if you’re squeamish…"What a crazy night, I really did get too much into the whole pirate thing.

Thank you for all the messages I really appreciate it."The star went on to express how upset he was that the routine didn't go the way he expected.He continued: "I'm absolutely gutted about the routine but so grateful you guys still went absolutely mad and voted me through i can’t thank you enough!!"Once again an accident that never happened in training at all which makes it all the worse for me but gonna put it in the past and get back to training asap!!"He finished off by saying: "A huge thank you to the whole team for putting me back together as always and supporting through everything, it really means a lot.
