manchestereveningnews.co.ukLeeds Crown Court heard on Friday (August 21).The 50-year-old, who has lost his independent seat on Wakefield Council, has been locked up for four years, and has been ordered to serve an extended licence period of two years.Kear admitted a charge of arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sexual offence and another of inciting the sexual exploitation of a child under the age of 13.The court heard how Kear sent a picture of his genitals to the officer he thought was the child’s mother.He also sent depraved messages about what he wanted to do to the child, who he had arranged to meet in August 2019.Three days before the arranged date, he was arrested, the court heard.
