A young cancer fighter is in self-isolation with her mum over coronavirus fears, after they both woke up with symptoms. Lily Douglas, who is being treated for a rare form of cancer called Ewing's Sarcoma, woke up with symptoms of the bug.
Panic-stricken mum, Jane, decided to place their Scotland home on lockdown after slamming the politicians and medical chiefs for the lack of guidance around vulnerable and high-risk people.
She felt left in the dark about how to care for her daughter amid the pandemic, which can cause potentially fatal respiratory problems for high-risk patients, as well as pneumonia, which can be fatal for those with underlying health issues.
