A Scots maternity unit has banned husbands and children from antenatal appointments amid the coronavirus pandemic. Just four days after announcing that birthing partners will have to wear masks during labour in the fight against Covid-19, NHS Ayrshire and Arran made the announcement on Friday night that expectant women should attend all appoints alone.
