Elliot Page had come out as transgender. With such a huge fanbase and a career that seems to span forever, it's no surprise that the announcement took hold of the social media world almost entirely.
Elliot had arrived; I just wish the world he arrived into was better for transgender people.Because at the same time as my congratulating Elliot on his journey of self-discovery and finding the strength to come out, I have to apologise.
