Come Dine With Me legend 'whisk guy' is almost unrecognisable ten years on.The Channel 4 series, narrated by Dave Lamb, first aired on 10 January 2005 and has to date, ran for over 45 series.The show is also credited with introducing Kev Riley and his iconic whisk to the world, cementing him in reality TV history.Kev memorably shocked audiences when upon finishing prep for his dessert, proceeded to stick the entire whisk into his mouth before deeming the recipe as "perfect".The infamous moment has become a surprising landmark in British pop culture and today, Kev is almost unrecognisable.Ten years on from his episode first airing, Kev is still profiting from his Come Dine With Me days.The DJ is able to charge fans £23 each for a personalised video message on the celebrity video messaging service Cameo, where he has an impressive five-star rating.His bio reads: "Just a regular northern lad , famous for putting a kitchen utensil in my mouth, whilst on primetime TV."Kev also recently took part in a Reddit thread where he dished on his iconic Come Dine With Me experience (via MyLondon) and explained why he decided to put the whisk in his mouth on camera.Responding to a fan, Kev explained: "Tough one this! "I get asked it all the time but it was a spur of the moment thing to make the producer of the show laugh while we were cooking the vegetables. "I didn't think they would include it!”Kev also revealed that he already knew two of his three competitors on the series before filming began.He said: "Two of them were [my] friends already although we didn't know until we turned up at their houses!
