Princess Charlotte helped bring Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle closer together after the two had a strained relationship from the start, according to a biography.Kate and Meghan reportedly did not see eye-to-eye from the beginning as revealed in the biography Finding Freedom by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand.However, it was Charlotte who helped the two bond while Meghan was living round the corner from Prince William, Kate and the children.The book says that Kate is an "extremely guarded person" with a tight group of friends so it was difficult for Meghan to get to know her.Prince Harry first introduced Meghan to his brother and Kate at Kensington Palace just a few months into their relationship.
