Colleagues throw bride-to-be surprise 'fake' wedding after lockdown cancelled big day

A bride-to-be was left in complete shock after her colleagues threw her a fake wedding at work because her big day had been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Faye Pearce and James Parkin were due to be married on May 14 this year but had to postpone their wedding until next May because of the lockdown.

Colleagues and residents at Dunniwood Lodge Care Home in Bessacarr, Doncaster, where Faye works, knew how much she was looking forward to her big day so they decided to throw her her very own fake wedding day.

In just three weeks, they managed to pull off an incredible day. No stone was left unturned with bridesmaids outfits, flowers, balloons, confetti, photographers and even live music to celebrate the special day in the back
