Balconies, public squares, phone boxes and doorways have been decorated with flowers and foliage to mark the first public event of the year.
Manchester Flow Show, which began on Saturday (May 31), will run until Sunday (June 6). It includes a floral tribute to the carers on the frontline during the pandemic at St Ann's Square and a bee-themed floral installation at the Arndale.
Visitors can also admire a floral light sculpture named Seed of Change at King Street, while flower shop Flourish has transformed the Medlock
