A cheerleader has opened up about her nearly two-month battle with coronavirus. Lacey Mathis, 19, from North Carolina didn't think much of it when she fell ill with a virus back in March.
But now, 58 days later, she is still fighting the virus and can't shake the symptoms. Lacey, a student at William & Mary University in Virginia, spoke about her fight with Covid-19. "It's been 58 days since I first had my fever," she said.
She told ABC11 she believes she contracted coronavirus while she was at a cheerleading tournament in early March near Washington DC.
