Countryfile presenter Charlotte Smith, 56, has spoken out about her worries after she was diagnosed with Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM), which is a rare lung disease.The star opened up about her health concerns after being told by her doctor she could only have 10 years left to live in a recently unearthed interview from 2016.Charlotte explained to The Mirror that she sought medical advice when she “started feeling breathless” following her brother’s wedding in 2010.A doctor then informed her that one of her lungs had “collapsed” before she was sent to hospital to have it “reinflated”.Unfortunately for Charlotte, she began feeling breathless again in spite of the procedure and went to see a specialist at London’s University College.
