A lesbian couple made history when they exchanged vows to mark the first same-sex marriage to take place in Central America.
Stunning newlyweds Alexandra Quiros and Dunia Araya tied the knot at midnight in Heredia, Costa Rica, on May 26, as it becomes the sixth Latin American country to legalise gay marriage.
The young women both wore white wedding dresses and held matching bouquets as they took part in the ceremony without guests, in front of a notary wearing a mask due to the coronavirus restrictions.
