Caroline Jones switched between "Koa" the guitar and "Slick Willy II" the banjo during her acoustic Billboard Live At-Home performance Thursday (July 16) that raised more than $23,000 for Camp Southern Ground, which she described as her mentor Zac Brown's "brainchild."Located in Peachtree City, Ga., the Zac Brown Band frontman founded Camp Southern Ground as a summer camp for kids with special needs and also serves veterans returning home who need help transitioning into life after military service.
Jones, who's visited, performed and conducted master classes at the camp several times, says the organization holds a special place in her heart."A lot of the issues that we're facing now as a society wouldn't exist if we all were able to.
