Customers of a Cambuslang kebab shop will be treated to £1 doners for a day to celebrate its latest cutting-edge investment.The award-winning Asian Tandoori are the first in Scotland to serve up their fresh doner meat using a robotic kebab cutting machine.The state-of-the-art technology, hand-delivered to the Lanarkshire shop directly from Istanbul, cuts up to 40 kilos of doner meat in three hours compared to eight hours by hand.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

You don't have to cut it, you don't have to cook it, it does everything for you at the press of a button."On a Saturday night we were putting on a 40 kilo doner.
It would take us about eight hours to cut that doner at full speed and we would struggle to keep up due to the demand."It's a piece of enginnering so it's very precise.
