Law Roach took many people by surprise when he announced his retirement on March 14, including his star client and close friend, Zendaya.During a conversation with Emily Ratajkowski for her podcast, , the Image Architect revealed that he hadn't spoken with the  actress before he took to Instagram to announce his retirement, and she immediately called him when the news hit. Explaining that he is part of a «core» four-person team supporting the Emmy-winning actress, Roach shares that his decision was «tough for her.»«She calls [and] she said, 'Girl, I thought we'd make big decisions together,'» he tells Ratajkowski. «She, of course, supported me. She's like, 'Do you need me to send you on a vacation? Tell me what you're going through.' And I, you know, talk to her about just being unhappy for a really long time and still grieving the death of my nephew... And she was like, 'Whatever you need, whatever you need.'»When Roach made his announcement, theories on why the stylist abruptly retired circulated on social media. A video of Roach and Zendaya went viral on Twitter when users suggested that the stylist was upset over not having a seat beside the actress in the front row of a Louis Vuitton fashion show.

Law Roach is only a few days into his retirement but he's already making boss moves, like making his debut on the runway. The stylist to the stars — including Zendaya, Kerry Washington, Issa Rae, and many others — strutted his stuff among the best of them Wednesday night in Miami.

He’s one of the most famous celebrity stylists in Hollywood, but the fashion industry is buzzing with speculation about why Law Roach retired so suddenly and without any warning.

Zendaya, Kerry Washington, Issa Rae, and many others, is retiring. The  judge took to Instagram to announce the shocking retirement, writing, «My Cup is empty…… thank you to everyone who’ve supported me and my career over the years.»«Every person that trusted me with their image, I’m so grateful for you all,» he continued. «If this business was just about the clothes I would do it for the rest of my life but unfortunately it’s not! The politics, the lies and false narratives finally got me! HBO Max’s Legendary wrapped up the third season of ballroom houses competing week after week until the last house was crowned as the winner. In honor of the finale, we decided to take a look back at all of the judge’s looks from Season 3 and round up the best ones. Season 3’s judges included Keke Palmer, Law Roach, Jameela Jamil, and ballroom iconLeiomy Maldonado, along with celebrity guest judges that changed each episode.

, HBO Max’s addictive ballroom competition, is back with a third season -- and returning judge Leiomy Maldonado tells ET’s Denny Directo, “This is going to be the shadiest season yet.” Shaking things up are a new judge, with Keke Palmer replacing Megan Thee Stallion, new rules and untested houses as the reality series moves from New York to Los Angeles. Palmer joins Maldonado, Jameela Jamil and Law Roach as well as host MC Dashaun Wesley as they determine which house “did what needed to be done” in order to win the legendary grand prize of $100,000.This time around, the panel isn’t playing around as they throw out some of the lowest scores seen so far and make the houses work for their “gag flag,” a judge’s ability to grant any group with immunity that week and a spot in the next ballroom.  Among the houses competing this year are Ada, Alain Mikli, Alpha Omega, Du'Mure Versailles, Juicy Couture, Lyght, Makaveli, Yamamoto and Revlon, the competition’s first international performers, as well as LaBeija, led by former contestant Aja LaBeija.
