Trooping the Colour is always one of Her Majesty the Queen’s favourite ceremonies; an annual parade marking her official birthday, always taking place on the second Saturday of June.
Over the years, it has been a moment which Her Majesty has used to showcase some memorable outfits - the hashtags #NeonAt90 and #HighVisHighness were trending topics on Twitter back in 2016 when the Queen wore a bright green outfit by Stewart Parvin for her milestone birthday celebrations.On Saturday 13th June 2020, as the coronavirus lockdown continued around the UK, the event was stripped back to a low-key, socially-distanced ceremony and Royal Salute at Windsor Castle, with a small number of Welsh Guardsmen and military musicians performing as Her Majesty.
