The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are one of the most famous couples in the UK – and around the world – meaning they've gotten used to cameras following them everywhere they go.
Prince William, 39, and Kate, 40, are rarely absent from the headlines, but there was once a point where they managed to live a more private life.
For a short period of time between 2010 and 2013, the couple resided on Anglesey, an island on the northwest coast of Wales.
Prince William was a helicopter pilot for the RAF at the time, and had been stationed in Wales to undergo training to fly the Sea King search and rescue helicopter.
