Call of Duty is down this evening with Modern Warfare and Warzone players on all platforms (PS4, Xbox One and PC) experiencing server status problems and queues to log in.

The problems began at around 8:00pm BST with players on PS4, Xbox One and Battle Net for PC all reporting problems. Independent outage monitor site DownDetector has seen a surge in reports with over 2000 in the last few minutes.

However, this obviously doesn't track all those many more thousand of players who are not reporting issues or complaining online.

Activision's has confirmed issues with Activision Support tweeting the following message as of 5 minutes ago: "We're currently experiencing connectivity issues.
