A British couple who were diagnosed with coronavirus while on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship are still unable to return home.
David and Sally Abel, from Oxfordshire, contracted the virus on the cruise liner and spent 14 days in quarantine on board before being taken to a Japanese hospital.
The couple, who were diagnosed with both COVID-19 and pneumonia, needed to test negative three times before being allowed to leave, Both had previously tested negative twice for the virus but during their third and final test, Mr Abel's returned positive.
