The body of a man has been found in woodlands in the search for a missing Scots man from Fife.Darren Macduff, 56, disappeared from his home address in Lochgelly Sunday, July 30, afternoon.
He had not been seen or heard from since 2.40pm with police describing his disappearance as "highly out of character".Officers have now confirmed that a body was found in woodlands north of Lochgelly, around 1.55pm on Monday, July 31.
Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of Darren has been informed.Police say there are no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
