dailystar.co.ukComedian Peter Kay made his first television appearance in two years this evening. The Phoenix Nights star, 48, appeared on BBC One’s Big Night In to introduce a new music video for his version of (Is This The Way To) Amarillo, which has been recreated by members of the public.
The actor, who was last seen on screens in 2018, told viewers that he "never imagined" the song would go down so well when it was first made 15 years ago with Tony Christie, adding that it is the "perfect time" to recreate it due to the current coronavirus pandemic.
