Peter Kay has been offered the chance to make a sitcom comeback on Sky One series Brassic. The comedian, 46, is a huge fan of the show.
And now writer Danny Brocklehurst, 48, has offered him a part – admitting the star would be his dream signing. He said: "There are so many people it would be good fun to have in. "I know Peter Kay loved the show’s season one.
It’d be amazing if we could get him in it." Brassic, which returns tomorrow for a second series, follows a group of northern pals and stars Michelle Keegan, 32.
Bolton-born Peter is one of TV’s best-loved funnymen thanks to huge hits including Phoenix Nights. His last big comedy role was in Peter Kay’s Car Share alongside Sian Gibson, 43.
