Former West End musical star Anne Hart, the widow of comedian Ronnie Corbett, has died at the age of 90, her family has announced.

A Strictly Come Dancing legend, Laurence Holloway, has sadly passed away.The former musical director on both Strictly Come Dancing and the talk show Parkinson, died at the age of 86, his family confirmed.The English composer, who began his career as a pianist in dance bands, passed away after a "short illness" on Thursday 9 January, his daughter Abigail Holloway revealed to the PA news agency. Throughout his illustrious career, the jazz musician collaborated with big names such as Engelbert Humperdinck, Sir Tom Jones, Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli, Sammy Davis Jr, Gilbert O'Sullivan, Mel Torme, Bob Monkhouse, Barry Humphries and Ronnie Corbett, as well as his late wife Marion Montgomery.

Actress Cheryl Murray, who was best known for her role as Gail's best friend Suzie Birchall in Coronation Street, has died at the age of 71.The redheaded star was also known for her roles in the classic sitcoms Sorry! and Hi Di Hi! and the soap Emmerdale. Peter Kay is angry with late paedophile presenter Jimmy Savile for destroying the legacy of his music video for '(Is This The Way To) Amarillo'. British veteran comedy actress Josephine Tewson, who found her biggest success in her sixties starring in one of the 1990s’ biggest TV sitcoms, has died aged 91.

The Last Of The Summer Wine actress Josephine Tewson has died at the aged 91.The star of British television sitcoms including Keeping Up Appearances sadly passed away on Thursday, 16 August at Denville Hall, a care home in London for those in the entertainment industry, the Independent reports. A statement from her agent Jean Diamond of Diamond Management reads: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Josephine Tewson. “Josephine passed away peacefully last night at Denville Hall at the Age of 91.” The London-born actress attended grammar school before enrolling at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (Rada), from which she graduated in 1952.

TV star Patricia Brake has sadly died at the age of 79 after a long battle with cancer, her family has said.
