Channel 4’s Stath Lets Flats star Jamie Demetriou has beaten new Doctor Who lead Ncuti Gatwa to Best Male Performance in a Comedy Programme at the BAFTA TV Awards.

It’s set to be a star-studded Christmas for the Brassic gang, with the Sky comedy welcoming The Crown’s Imelda Staunton and comedian Greg Davies to the cast for its festive special. Although for Tom Hanson, who plays Leslie ‘Cardi’ Titt on the show, filming with Imelda felt more like a family reunion. “I’ve known Imelda for quite a while because she’s friends with my parents,” says Tom, who is the son of Downton Abbey ’s Samantha Bond and actor Alexander Hanson.

It first aired on E4 over 12 years ago, but TV series Misfits still remains a firm favourite amongst viewers today. The show was snapped up by Netflix last year, relaunching it onto a whole new audience.

It was based on the Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon comic book series of the same name.

Naman Ramachandran Filming of Comcast-owned Sky’s comedy show “Brassic” has been temporarily halted after a crew member exhibited coronavirus symptoms, a Sky spokesperson has confirmed to Variety.“Throughout this time, the safety of our colleagues and customers remains our number one priority,” said the Sky spokesperson. “The ‘Brassic’ production has paused with cast and crew now self-isolating.

MICHELLE Keegan really wants Peter Kay to join the next season of Brassic and is keeping her "fingers crossed" it will happen. The comedian, 46, has been in talks with Joseph Gilgun who created the Sky One show, which is set in the fictional town of Hawley that follows a group of working class pals trying to make ends meet.
