Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

television mogul has denied that this was ever the case and that he lost weight by doing a simple trick that many doctors recommend.

Speaking to The Sun , the star revealed how a simple change to his eating habits after visiting a doctor helped him re-evaluate his health. READ MORE: ITV This Morning's Dermot O'Leary looks unrecognisable in 90s throwback pictures Simon said: “[The doctor] did my blood work and pee and all the rest of it, and a month later the results came in and his words were, ‘You have the worst diet out of all the clients I have ever seen in my life — you have a schoolboy’s diet from the 1960s. ’ It was just pies. ”The entrepreneur’s doctor then gave him a list of food he could and couldn’t eat which helped him improve his waistline.

The 62-year-old said: “he sent me a list of things I can’t eat, and that included red meat, dairy, sugar and gluten. And I pretty much stuck to it. ”As for whether he had undergone gastric bypass surgery Simon stated, “wouldn’t there be scars?” The star also went on to share the types of foods he was enjoying in his new healthy diet which included green smoothies, grilled tomatoes and soup.
