Britain's Got Talent reportedly had a joke cut out of Saturday night's show (April 23) in which David Walliams poked fun at Simon Cowell's real age.
The 62-year-old music mogul, who heads up the judging panel on BGT, allegedly asked for the cheeky jibe to be slashed from the final edit of Saturday night's show – weeks after it made its return to our telly screens.
In audition rounds that took place in January, the funny age-related joke was made by children's author and comedian David to a less-than-impressed Simon.
The Sun reported that funny-man David, 50, said: "Are you a fan of Simon Cowell? Does he look like your granddad?"While a source told the paper: "David’s comment got a laugh from the audience at the time and Simon didn’t appear to take offence."It’s odd the joke was taken out of the final cut as David has made far cheekier gags about Simon and they’ve stayed in."
