Fans flocked to Twitter to share their bold theory about the slithering character. The captivating act, which resulted in judge Alesha Dixon fleeing her seat in horror, saw the terrifying character appear on stage in a puff of smoke and menacingly stalk the judges' desk.
The witch gave both Alesha and fellow judge David Walliams an apple to bite into before placing an apple in each of Amanda Holden's hands.
Simon Cowell then had to choose an apple for her to bite into, and the other fruit exploded into a disgusting swarm of maggots and cockroaches that filled the desk.
