Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.
Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

ITV Britain's Got Talent fans 'howling' over bloody act that fooled Simon Cowell with their lie

Singing act The Dots left Simon Cowell baffled as they performed in a bid to win a place on stage at the Royal Variety Performance.

The trio took to the stage to explain that they'd had to replace one of their members at the last-minute over 'creative differences.' They told judges Simon, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams that one of the original dots walked out. "They were a bit difficult shall we say," they explained when pressed on the fall-out.

And as the act got underway on the ITV talent show Simon sat open-mouthed and tried to work out what was going on as the boogie woogie-style close-harmony singers performed out of time with each other, forgot their steps and squabbled.

But then he admitted 'the penny has dropped' as things became even more chaotic.
